The React video editor has its own license.

@videoflow/react-video-editor is an optional add-on on top of the open-source core. It uses a two-tier license designed to keep the package free for most users while funding ongoing development.

Free license — eligibility

  • Individuals
  • For-profit organisations with up to 3 employees
  • Non-profits and not-for-profits
  • Anyone evaluating the editor before using it commercially

Allowed use

Free-license users may use the editor commercially or non-commercially for building and operating video-editing experiences, and may modify it for their own projects or to contribute fixes back upstream.

Disallowed use

You may not copy or modify the editor's code to sell, rent, license, relicense, or sublicense your own derivative of the editor.

Company license

Organisations outside the free-license tier need a company license. It grants the same rights as the free license, plus prioritised support. For pricing and purchase, get in touch.

No warranty

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. See the full license file on GitHub.
